About SpecPrice

SpecPrice compares UK and EU prices for PC parts (graphics cards, laptops, RAM, SSDs and CPUs) and ranks them by value: how much spec you get per pound. It's run by Brandon Cosgrove in the United Kingdom as an independent, one-person project.

Why

The cheapest card isn't always the best value. For running local AI models, VRAM decides what fits, so we rank GPUs by price per GB of usable VRAM and show which open models each one can run. RAM and SSDs are ranked by £ per GB and CPUs by price and £ per core.

How prices are collected

How rankings work

Rankings are mechanical: sorted by price per spec, cheapest first. Nobody can pay for a better position, and affiliate commissions play no part (see the affiliate disclosure). "Can run" figures for AI models are estimates based on real GGUF file sizes plus about 1 GB for context; longer context needs more memory.

How the site is funded

Through affiliate links, currently Amazon Associates. If you buy through one we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
