PC builder: pick your parts, check they fit

Pick a part for each slot: we add up the UK prices and check sockets, memory, sizes and power.
How this works

Every part comes from the UK shop listings on our category pages, cheapest first, with shops that confirm stock ahead of feed prices (listings a shop marks as pre-order or unavailable are skipped; prices we can't check are marked "stock not checked"). The checks compare the specs each listing states: CPU socket against the motherboard, the board's memory type against the RAM kit, the board size against the sizes the case lists, the graphics card length against the case's limit, the cooler's sockets against the CPU, and the power supply against an estimated draw.

Estimated draw = the CPU's official figure + the graphics card's official figure + 100 W for the rest of the system. Intel figures are Maximum Turbo Power from Intel's datasheets; AMD CPU figures are AMD's default TDP, and AMD CPUs can draw more than that under full load. Graphics card figures are the maker's stated board power. When a figure isn't on an official page we say "can't check".

Checks

We haven't tested these parts. Specs come from shop listings; blank = not stated, so check the maker's spec page before buying. Power draw is an estimate, not a measurement. Prices are the shops' listed new prices at the time shown and can change; the shop's price at checkout applies.
